Finding Them

• Check Yelp and pick one of the top 2-3 reviewed (most reviews) vendors.
• Contact each them and confirm they know Appfolio. This is a requirement. If they don't move on.
• Test them on vacant properties.

Testing New Vendors

Never test a brand new vendor on an occupied property. Only test them on vacant deals. You may occasionally test them on seasoned clients (Richmond Lambeth) who are willing to absorb a little potential frustration. Don't assume they will and aim to make sure the new vendor is on top of their game, but stuff happens.

Decide if we like them

Either way, add them to the Vendor List. If we like them, add them as a vendor under the relevant field.

If we don't like them, add them to the blacklist so we never use them again.
