VA Pay & Confidentiality Policy
Please read carefully. This is part of your engagement agreement.
Please note that this policy only applies to virtual team members and not Austin-based employees.
1. Pay Schedule & Method
- You will be paid once per month via wire transfer. The wire transfer will be initiated on the first Monday of each month.
- Your payments cover your approved hours or deliverables for the prior month.
- You must provide accurate banking / wire info (routing, SWIFT, account, etc.) and update it if anything changes.
- If we make an error (underpay or overpay), notify management within 7 days. Corrections will be made in the next pay cycle (or sooner where feasible).
2. Confidentiality of Compensation
- You may not disclose your pay (base rate, bonuses, etc.) to other VAs.
- You may not ask other VAs about their compensation.
If you learn another VA’s pay (by accident or otherwise), you must:
• keep it confidential,
• notify management immediately.
- Violating this rule is considered a breach of trust and may lead to disciplinary action, up to termination.
3. Raises, Adjustments & Variability
- Pay rates may be adjusted (up or down) based on performance, role changes, or business conditions.
- All rate changes are confidential and will be communicated directly to you.
- You should not assume entitlement to raise based solely on tenure.
4. Disputes & Support
- If you believe you’ve been underpaid or missed a payment, submit a Pay Dispute Request within 10 days of payday.
- Management will respond within 5 business days.
- During any dispute, compensation details remain confidential.
5. Legal & Compliance Notes
- You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or bank charges in your country, unless otherwise agreed.
- This policy is part of your engagement terms. Non-compliance can result in termination.
- We reserve the right to amend this policy, with notice, as our company evolves.
6. Acknowledgment
By continuing to work under this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Pay & Confidentiality Policy.
