Activating Notifications in Appfolio

When you first configure Appfolio, you need to set it up so you can receive relevant email notifications.


New Rental Applications

If you are responsible for processing applications, you'll need to activate notifications when we receive new rental applications.

Log in to Appfolio, click your name in the top right corner, then hit 'My Settings'.

Then, click the box for 'new rental applications are received'.

Then, click 'Save' at the bottom of this page. Then you're done!



Tenant Payment Rejected

If you're responsible for sending lease violation notices, you need to activate the 'payment rejected' notification.

Log in to Appfolio, go to 'My Settings'

Scroll down and activate the following setting.

Then, click 'Save' at the bottom of this page, and then you're done!
