Employee Onboarding Checklist (For Management)
This doc is just a checklist to help management onboard new team members
- Employee needs to set up access to the following systems
- Appfolio (send them a login)
- FUB (send them a login)
- Basecamp (send them a login)
- Helpscout (send them a login)
- OpenPhone (send them a login). Ask them to then:
- register their number
- label their number with their name
- download the app on their phone if their computer mic isn't good.
- MLS (login on Important Info sheet)
- ActivTrak (send them a login via ActivTrak + ask them to set up the agent)
- Grammarly (set up their own personal account via their TOP email)
- Grasshopper (login on Important Info sheet)
- DocuSign (login on Important Info sheet)
- Gmail (send them a personal login)
- Need to set up inbox whatever way helps
- Inbox zero/batching
- If outside of the US: Set up VPN
- Email Groups
- Add employee to any relevant email groups (leasing@, all@, etc)
- Send resources
- Vacancy spreadsheet
- TOPM important info
- TOPM sensitive info (for PM only)
- Vendor Sheet
- Branding
- Email signature
- Appfolio signature
- Development
- Do they need a typing course?
- Wiki review
- Ask them to review all the wikis in 'General Policies'
- Ask them to start standups immediately
- Send introduction to team
- Update any BC tasks relevant to the employee
- Update the 'Employee Info' wiki and any other "Division of Labor" docs
- If needed, add employee to receive Grasshopper notifications
