Send Abel Lease Extensions

Hi Abel,

Please use the below information to complete the form. Once completed please send it to us for final approval. Once approved, you will send via DocuSign to the residents with my final signature (NOT AL). If you have any questions please let me know.

Extensions to send: All 04/30/25 lease expirations that reflect AC/SG initials. 

CONCERNING THE RESIDENTIAL LEASE OF THE PROPERTY AT:

between (Landlord): Owner Name
and (Tenant): All Tenant Names

  • In paragraph A: Amendments to Lease: May 1st, 2025
  • In paragraph A(1): April 30th, 2026 (double check notes section) 
  • In paragraph A(2): checkbox "changed to" (refer to 2025 Renewal Comps - Suggested renewal rate line with AC/SG initials) 
  • In paragraph A(3): checkbox "remains the same" only if the original lease has the below filled out in paragraph 34(F): 
  • If the above paragraph is blank or has one of the lease holders name please checkbox "is changed to:" This will allow the tenant to provide a new emergency contact. 
  • In paragraph B: March 26, 2025
  • In paragraph B(2): checkbox & enter 04/30/2025

@Abel Ward  Once (Month) lease extensions have been sent via DocuSign, please send a mass email through AppFolio (copy Stephanie and me) to the tenants receiving an extension. We will handle any renewal negotiations that arise.

We would like to take a moment to thank you for your residency! It is hard to believe your lease is expiring on XX/XX/XXXX We sincerely hope that you are enjoying your time in the home and hope that you plan to stay with us! 

To accept, simply sign the lease through DocuSign. You will receive an email from DocuSign, through this link you will sign the lease renewal. If you have a roommate, there will be a signing order. The first roommate will receive the DocuSign to sign first, and once they’ve signed, the next roommate will receive the extension to sign. Please note you will have a deadline to sign the renewal. If the lease extension isn't signed by DATE, MONTH DATE, 2025 we will be sending a notice to vacate.

If your plans require you to vacate the home, we’ll be sorry to lose you. As a  reminder per your lease we require a 30 day written notice to vacate prior to your lease expiration date.
